To the family of Mary,
You are in my thoughts and prayers. Mary was my roommate at Course of Study at Wesley Seminary for two summers. What a blessing she was in my life! What a wonderful mother and grandmother and wife. We often prayed together, and I loved praying with Mary. It was such a privilege to know her. She prayed often for all of you because she obviously loved you so much. I know that Mary is rejoicing to be home with Jesus.

I was privileged to meet Mary when she went to ministry licensing school with my husband "Cappy." You would immediately fall in love with that warm smiling face. I also got to see her when she brought Darrel to the VA clinic in Petersburg. She will be greatly missed by your family. Praying God's blessing of peace at your time of sorrow and grief.

I have so many memories of Aunt Mary and they all involve mostly laughing. When I was a child it was like we were one big family instead of two with the amount of time we were around each other. I can't even imagine what a celebration Heaven had this morning when all of our loved ones welcomed Mary home. I can just see all of them running to greet her. I know they were there for her as was Jesus. Now she will watch over her family as they do until the day she comes to meet us. I love you Mary Lee. My prayers are with all of you and anything you need please give me a call. Love you all and God bless.

I have so many memories of Mary Lee & Darrell and all of you guys. They are so precious to me...most of them make me laugh out loud...and that is so good! I am sad that she is gone, but she isn't, I know, and I know that she & mom & Darrell & dad & all of her dear loved ones are having a Great reunion there. One of the sweetest memories I have of Mary, was when Dee, Abby & I went to her church and heard her preach...her anointing was so evident you could almost see it. She was a powerful Christian saint, and a powerful preacher....I know we'll see her again. See you in the morning, Mary! I am praying for all of you guys. Love and miss you all, Penny

Mary was a beloved member of our extended family and her presence and faith will be missed in more ways than there are words to express.
I will never forget attending her graduation from divinity school in Washington DC and how joyful she was and how proud of her we were and how blessed Jeff and I felt to be able to attend that special ceremony and have her visit at our home in Manassas.
Her faith and strength guided our family during the illness and passing of Ted Stieringer(my dad). Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you!! Much love , Rhonda and Jeff Lawrence

My deepest condolences to the many beautiful souls who grieve the loss of this mighty woman. I was blessed to call her My Aunt, and have many warm memories of growing up with her children. I remember laying on her couch when I had mumps at Thanksgiving and my first introduction to farm life was watching her pluck a chicken. All my love to you, Faye, Freddie, Jodi, Derrick, and Mack.
