Obituary of Timothy Dale Shaffer

Timothy Dale "Tim" Shaffer, 61, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away Monday, November 11, 2024, at Preston Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 13, 1963, in Oakland, MD, a son of the late Dale Roy "Bud" and Shirley Phyllis (Everly) Shaffer. Tim owned his own paving company and drove truck for AmeriGas and BFS. He loved the open roads, often riding motorcycles. He enjoyed playing pool, having the occasional beer, and gambling. He is survived by his wife: Bobbi Shaffer; four sons, Jesse Keller, Shane Shaffer and wife, Bri, Dustin Stemple and wife, Hanah, and Dakota Stemple; two daughters, Cassie Shaffer and Natasha Davidson and husband, Randy; 13 grandchildren; brother, David Shaffer and wife, Melanie; sister, Mary Shaffer-Lawhorne and husband, Donnie, and two nieces. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by, his father-in-law, Bob Jackson. Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV, on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 2:00 pm until the 4:00 pm time of service with Rev. Casper Dalton officiating. To honor his wishes, after services are completed, Tim will be cremated.
