Obituary of Janet Mary Broda

Janet Mary Broda,

71, of Terra Alta, died Wednesday June 13, 2018 at Garrett Regional Medical Center, Oakland, MD.

The daughter of the late Charles and Jenny Watson Roth, she was born June 12, 1947 in Scranton, PA.

Janet was a member of the Corinth Pentecostal Holiness Church. She retired from Con Star International in Haver De Grace, MD.

She is survived by four daughters, Donna Norris of Edgewood, MD, Michelle Corbin of Meyersdale, PA, Janice M. Miller of Perryville, MD and Julie Broda of Terra Alta; one sister, Jeannette Jones of Berkley Springs; six grandchildren, Billy and Tiffany Norris, Jessica Peacock, Cody Crabill, Harlie Broda and Stanley Miller; and two great grandchildren, Arianna and Alya.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Walter Broda in 2007 and one brother.

Family and friends will be received at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Terra Alta from 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 18, 2018 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
