Obituary of Wayne David Judy

Wayne David Judy, 60, of Alpine Lake Community, Terra Alta, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at home. The son of Mary G. Judy of Laurel, MD and the late Wayne D. Judy, he was born January 10, 1957 at Cheverly, MD. He worked as a sea food manager in Maryland and more recently as a security guard at Alpine Lake Resort. Wayne was a sports enthusiast with his favorite teams being WVU, the Washington Capitals and the Redskins. He was also very politically minded and could get into a good discussion with you. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Cynthia D. Vantries; a step-son and wife, Gregory and Karri Mares of Wilmington, NC; one sister and spouse, Kathy Lynn and Mike Muth of Raleigh, NC; and sisters and brother-in-law, Natalie Vantries and Gwen and Bob Feuchtenberger, all of Minnesota; nieces: Alicia, Andie, Kristen, Kari, Michele, Lanette, Barbara, Denise and Kayla; and nephew, Brad. Family and friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from 5-7 on Friday. A funeral liturgy outside of mass will be celebrated at the funeral home at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 with Fr. Andrew Switzer as celebrant. Cremation services will follow.
