Obituary of Orlando Shay Fultz

Orlando Shay Fultz, 86, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. He was born May 6, 1938, in Franklin, WV, a son of the late Ona Kenneth and Nellie (Wolfe) Fultz. Orlando was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. During his life he worked several jobs from working for Quaker City Tree Surgeons to owning and operating his own paint company in Meadville, PA. Orlando is survived by his two sons, Robert Fultz and Kenny Fultz; a daughter, Kristy Johnson; his bonus children, Robert Nice and wife Maranda and their daughter, Makenna Evans, Travis Nice, Kimberly Lantz and husband Steve and their children, Temperance and Wyatt; granddaughter, Brandi; great granddaughter, Brandalyn; two brothers, Delano Fultz and Willard Fultz; one sister, Patty; and his step sons, whom he was very close with, Richard Nice and Tommy Nice. In addition to his parents, Orlando was preceded in death by both of his wives, Connie Fultz and Jane Fultz. Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta on Tuesday, December 31, 2024, from 2 pm until the 5 pm time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. To honor Orlando's wishes, Arthur H. Wright will provide cremation services. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
