Obituary of Norma Jean Keim
Norma Jean Keim, 74, of Terra Alta, WV, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at home with family by her side.
She was born January 22, 1950, in Oakland, MD, the daughter of the late Charles Walter Lewis, Sr. and Wildean V. (Lowers) Lewis.
Norma ran Eastview Group Home for 10 years, drove semitruck, kept the books for the catering business her and her husband, John, owned, and worked as the office manager at Cranberry Medical for 22 years. She attended Grace Chapel Church. Norma enjoyed sewing and tending to flowers. Her favorite thing to do was spoil her grandchildren. Family meant everything to Norma, she loved each and every one of them more than anything.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John Keim; son, John M. Keim and wife, Carolanne; two daughters, Teresa L. Haskiell and husband, Rob and Cheryl M. Dixon and husband, Dr. Brian; grandchildren, Paige Dixon, Peyton Dixon, Christopher Haskiell and wife, Kayleen, Caleigh Ramirez and husband, Dylan, Landon Keim, and Elijah Keim; brother, Dr. Roger Lewis, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Norma is preceded in death by, a brother, Charles Lewis.
Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta, WV, on Sunday, December 29, 2024, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Terra Alta First Church, 303 W State Ave, Terra Alta, WV 26764, on Monday, December 30, 2024, at 3:00 pm with Pastor Mike Argabrite and Pastor Mike Yates officiating. Interment will be held at the Terra Alta Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Norma's memory to the WVU Cancer Institute at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital - Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, WV 26505.
The family would like to invite everyone for a meal at the First Church after the cemetery portion of the service.
