Obituary of Gordon Glenn Grimm

Gordon Glenn Grimm,

      76, of Terra Alta, WV, went to his heavenly home, Sunday, April 21, 2024 with family by his side.

     The son of the late Dorsey and Beulah Pauline (Wright) Grimm, he was born May 5, 1947, in Terra Alta.

     Gordon loved the Lord and was steadfast in his faith.  He loved his family and was a pleasure to be around. 

     He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and traveling.  He liked to go out to eat and have coffee with his buddies.

     He is survived by his “high school sweetheart”, his wife of 56 years, Kathryn Grimm; daughter, Lisa Kay Radford and spouse Darren of Parsons; grandson: Isaac Cole and significant other, Alexis Wilkinson of Bruceton Mills; granddaughters, Amber Hebb and spouse Toby of Parsons, Lenae Cole and significant other, John Spaid of Aurora, Hunter Moon and spouse Joel of Oakland, Katelyn Huffman and spouse, Chris of Aurora, Lakin Wilt and spouse Anthony of Aurora and Andrea Grimm; great grandchildren: Colton, Briar, Boone, Addalee, Anatala, Jack, Levi, Samuel, Conner, Remington, Kaydence, Mack, Greer, Emmett, Carter, and Harper; brother, Joseph Grimm of Boston, Massachusetts; sister Martha DeBerry, of Terra Alta, and several nieces and nephews and extended family members.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nathan Allen Grimm, a brother Clifton Grimm, and twin brother Gary Grimm.

     Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Thursday from 4-6:00 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. on Friday April 26, 2024, until the 11:00 a.m. time of service with Pastor Carroll Harvey officiating.  Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
