My dear husband, Klaus Mielenz (who passed away last year), and myself loved Charlotte from the moment we met her, about 20 years ago.
She had a wonderful spirit and sense of humor, and was always a joy to be around.
We were immigrants from Germany and England, respectively, and she asked us great questions about our backgrounds and lives.

I've known Charlotte Freeland since I was in the first grade at least. She was a strong minded woman who loved her family and friends. I enjoyed her dry wit and sense of humor.
I know she will be greatly missed by her family and friends, but I also know she is in a better place. My thoughts and prayers are with her family, may God bless you and comfort you.

We were blessed to have Charlotte as our friend and sister in Christ. She had a servant's heart. She was loyal and dependable and had a wonderful sense of humor. We'll always be thankful for the times we got to visit with her and for the positive impact she had on our lives. So very sorry to hear this. I worked with Charlotte for several years. Always had me laughing. She was a wonderful person and never forgot me, even in the nursing home, I would visit and she knew me from the start. I will miss her dearly...Prayers for the family.
