Obituary of Edna Louise Cramer

Edna Louise Cramer,

79, of Terra Alta, died at home, after a courageous battle, on Sunday October 22, 2023 surrounded by her family.

The daughter of the late Eugene R. and Dora B. Funk, she was born April 1, 1944, in Rowlesburg.

She was a member of Faith Church Cranesville. She was a Christian woman who loved everyone. Edna always welcomed everyone in her home and had so much love to give. That showed as she was a dedicated foster parent for over 40 years; providing a safe place for so many.   She made the best cookies and enjoyed crochet and sewing.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, James "Jim" Cramer; her children, Alton  Myers and Rhonda, Mark (Kelly) Myers and Arlie (Tonya) Myers all of Morgantown, Cheryl (Bill) Brock, Paul Cramer, and Craig Stewart all of Terra Alta, and Nikki  DeWitt and fiancé Larry Rodeheaver of Rivesville; 15 Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; she had many other children of her heart including David, Christian and Oakley; four brothers, Richard Harry (Jean) Funk, Charles (Mary) Funk and David (Tammy) Funk all of OK, and Mike (Becky) Funk of Rowlesburg; four sisters, Margaret Friend of VA, Flora Pyles of Kingwood, Dorothy Boyer of Cumberland and Mary (Roy) Thiel of Rowlesburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Diggs.

Edna has chosen not to have a funeral service. A celebration of life may be planned for a later date.
