Obituary of Josephine Martha Hrim

Josephine M. "Jo" Hrim, 106 years old, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at Dennett Road Manor, Oakland, MD. The daughter of the late Charles and Anna Scznick Pawloski, she was born October 26, 1910 in Arlington, NJ. Jo was a native of Syracuse, NY, where she, along with her husband and son, operated a restaurant from 1942 to 1988. She moved to Oakland in 2009 to be closer to her daughter. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia H. Greaser of Rochester, PA and Terra Alta, WV; two grandchildren and spouses, Patrick and Eloise Greaser of Rochester, PA and Gretchen and George Sosnowski of Moscow, PA; four great grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Greaser and Zoe and Lucas Sosnowski. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas Nero Hrim; her son, Thomas Hrim; and son-in-law, Thomas Greaser. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5 until the 7:00 p.m. time of service. Burial will be at a later date in Syracuse, NY.
