Obituary of Brandie Nichole Thompson

Brandie Nichole Thompson,

35, of Albright passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday May 29, 2023 at her home. The daughter of Lori Ann Harrison of Terra Alta and Eric Brian Keller of Terra Alta, she was born April 13, 1988, in Oakland, MD.

Brandie loved to hunt, have cookouts with family and close friends, crafting and most of all being "one of the guys" during Derby season. She loved being involved with her children and their sporting activities.

Brandie was a veteran of the United States Army and was discharged as a Sergeant.

She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Michael Corey Thompson; their three children, Rylynn Alizabeth (12), Zailey Reighn (9) and Haylee Briann (6); sister, Carlie Sue and husband Nick Auvil of Terra Alta and their three children, Reda Jane, Annie Lynn, and Nathan Ray Auvil; several aunts, uncles and cousins and her beloved Great Dane, Guage.

Brandie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Lloyd and Connie (Anderson) Harrison; her paternal grandparents, Thomas F. Jr. and Elsie Jean Keller along with many other loved family members.

Family and friends will be received  at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home in Terra Alta on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and from 10:00 a.m. on Monday June 5, 2023 until the 11:00 a.m. service time with Pastor Jeff Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery with graveside military rites conducted by the Preston County Honor Guard and the WVANG Honor Guard.
