Obituary of Rosemary Riggleman

Rosemary Riggleman, 57 of Terra Alta died unexpectedly on Monday May 15, 2023, at home. The daughter of the late Carl Lee and Agnus Anna Hajny Weaver, she was born September 30, 1965, in Newburg. Rosemary loved gardening, mowing grass and baking. She liked to bow hunt and spend time at the cabin. She was a very caring person and always willing to help someone in need. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Maurice "Buddy" Riggleman; three children; Thomas E. Stout of Parkersburg, Melissa D. and Roger Poling of Fellowsville, Michelle A. and Aaron Simms of Arthurdale; two brothers, Jerry Hajny of Kingwood, Gary Hajny of Bruceton Mills; two sisters, Geraldine Dixon of Kingwood, and Mary Jane Moats of Tunnelton; brother-in-law, Kerry Metheny of Terra Alta; seven grandchildren, Briar Thomas Riggleman, Kailynn DeBerry, Wesley Poling, Gage Poling, Trevor Zinn, Denton and Mailynn Simms. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Metheny and brother-in-law, Huck Moats. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta from 11:00 a.m on Monday May 22, 2023, until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor Sam Moon officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
