Obituary of Ernest Bradley Metheny
E. Bradley “Brad” Metheny, 44, of Terra Alta passed away at home on February 9, 2023.
Born March 23, 1978, in, Winchester, VA He is the youngest son of the late Ernest Delano and Ida Faye “Peggy” Metheny of Terra Alta.
Brad attended several high schools and spent most of his life living in Clarksburg, WV and Terra Alta, WV. He enjoyed cooking and was employed throughout his life as a cook. He enjoyed fishing as a hobby and was an avid Steelers Football Fan.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Gary Metheny and wife Christine of Fairmont, WV, and Kevin Metheny; one sister, Lisa Carpenter both of Terra Alta; nieces and nephews Lakin Thomas, Brittany Prunty, Hunter Carpenter all of Terra Alta, and Brett Metheny and wife Elise of Kill Devil Hills, NC; two great nephews, Treyton Michael Teets and Jaxen Thomas both of Terra Alta.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Metheny; and brother-in-law, Michael Carpenter.
To honor his wishes, Brad will be cremated under the care and assistance of Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home. The family will be holding a private interment at a later date.
