Obituary of Julie Marucci

Julie Anne (Fulk) Marucci, 53, of Terra Alta, WV, formerly of Bruceton Mills, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 23,2022, peacefully at home with her husband and sister by her side, after a long illness. The youngest of the late Harold Thomas and Yvonna Kay (Miller) Fulk, she was born on May 22, 1969, in Morgantown, WV. Julie graduated from Bruceton High School in 1987. She attended the Laurel Business Institute in Cosmetology, graduating in 1988. She had many different jobs in her lifetime, her most rewarding being her position as nanny for the Deal Family. She also worked as a Tax Deputy from Preston County and was a ResCare caregiver before becoming disabled. She enjoyed reading, board and card games, jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family and friends. Julie is survived by her husband of 19 years, Chad A. Marucci; four sisters, Sue Golden and husband Marvin, Kim Fulk, Lisa Golden and husband Steve, and Nancy LaRue; her mother-in-law, Linda Auld of Dundock, MD; two brothers-in-law; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews; and three very special people she helped raise when they were small, Nicole Deal Shay, Trisha Deal and Mike "Mikey" Deal an her furbaby cats, Mister and Missy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her oldest sister, Debra Kay Fulk in 2015 and her father-in-law, Nicholas Marucci, Jr. To honor Julie's wishes, she will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
