Obituary of Helen Maxine Brandon

Helen T. Brandon 79 of Terra Alta, WV, died January 1, 2017 at Garret Regional Medical Center, Oakland, MD. The daughter of the late Martin S. Tibbets and Dorothy Lee Clements, she was born on June 28, 1937 in Cleveland, TX. She was active in the Senior Center of Terra Alta. She is survived by a son, James A. Brandon and wife Alayna of Oakland, MD; three daughters, Carol Tooney and Manuel of New Waverly, TX, Janet McGuire and husband Ronald of Cleveland, TX and Judy Whitehead and husband Ronnie of Graceville, FL; grandchildren, John Michael Brandon and wife Denise, Ryan McGuire, Kailee and Chloee Brandon, Brandi and Dorothy Whitehead; step grandchildren, Claire, Gracie and Logan Grove; sister Betty Dillard of Houston, TX and brother in laws Robert Brandon and wife Mary of Picayune MS and Alton Pyle of Houston, TX and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by husband John A. Brandon, two sons Wayne and John Brandon Jr. and brother Charlie Tibbets. Friends may call at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta from 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 6, 2017 until the 11:00 a.m. time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman officiating.
