Obituary of Wilma Audra Glover

Wilma Audra Glover, 98, of Terra Alta, died Tuesday April 26, 2016 at home surrounded by family. The daughter of the late Robert Hunter and Alice Maude Bucklew Cole, she was born April 13, 1918 at Rodamer, WV. She was a lifetime member of Whitedale Brethren Church. She was a clerk at Greggs Pharmacy for many years. Wilma was well known for her baking, especially her pies, fruit cakes, hard tack and cookies. She loved antiques and collectibles and had an antique shop at one time. She was also a life member of Terra Alta Women of the Moose Chapter #510. She is survived by three sons; Ralph P. "Sonny" Glover, Jr. of Charleston, Gary A. Glover and wife Rhonda and David A. Glover and wife Cindy all of Terra Alta; 10 grandchildren: Michael and Mark Glover, Katherine Parrish, Dawn Davis, Gary Glover II, Benji Glover, Shaun Lambert, Anthony and Andrew Glover and Alisha Goff; 21 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph P. Glover, Sr.; step daughter, Loretta Moyers; a granddaughter, Marcia K. Metheny; daughter-in-law, Marti-lou Glover; four brothers, Don, Leslie "Jim", Woodrow and Charles Cole; three sisters, Virginia Gary, June Hiser and Willivene Bilotti. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Saturday from 6-8 and from noon on Sunday, May 1, 2016 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor Stanley M. Waybright officiating. Burial will follow in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Saltlick.
