Nellie P. Paugh Lothry

80, of Terra Alta died Friday October 21, 2022 at Garrett Regional Medical Center, Oakland, MD.

The daughter of the late Robert Merritt and Virgie Ellen Moore Paugh, she was born March 22, 1942 in Deer Park, MD.

Nellie was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she cherished her church family and worshipped her Lord and Savior. She was employed at Bausch and Lomb in Oakland and for many years as a pharmacy tech at Greg's Pharmacy in Terra Alta. She enjoyed crafts and oil painting. She had a fondness for cats.

She is survived by a son and spouse, Eric R. (Angela) Lothry of Augusta, GA; two sisters, Marjorie E. Paugh Hardesty of Oakland, and Elizabeth LaFern Lee of Swanton; a granddaughter, Hannah G. Lothry; two grandsons, Patrick R. And William D. Lothry; sisters-in-law, Anita Paugh, Elizabeth Pache, Caroline Gunning and Gloria Gilbert; special nieces Shela Hardesty and Paula A. (Dennis) Gaunter; many additional nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Ronald D. Lothry on December 31, 2021; four brothers, six sisters, eight nephew and five nieces.

Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. at the Trinity United Methodist Church on Monday October 24, 2022, until the 1:00 p.m. time of service.
