Obituary of Eva Jean Cramer

Eva Jean Thomas Kelly Cramer,

95, passed away on May 11, 2022 at her home in Terra Alta. She was born on July 18, 1926 in Terra Alta to the late Bruce and Cora Sisler Thomas. Eva Jean loved her family, enjoyed their visits and always had homemade cinnamon rolls, homemade rolls and bread, plus various cookies she and her husband made every Christmas for the whole family. She also loved beautiful flowers and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders. Eva Jean is survived by her husband of 43 years, Chester Cramer; two sons, Melvin Kelly and wife Karen of Bowling Green, KY, and Michael Kelly of Terra Alta, two daughters, Donna Sypolt and husband Steve of Terra Alta, and Leonora Wilt and husband Larry of Oakland, MD; nine grandchildren Marc A. (Danielle) Kelly, Melynda (Nicki) Allen, Lynn (Nicole) Johnson, Stephanie Bowling, Kelly Friend, Stacy (Matt) Barr, David (Katie) Kelly, Doug (Jessica) Kelly and Michelle (Jonathan) Dixon; 17 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Kelly, and two brothers, Kenneth "Shakespeare" Thomas and Jim Thomas who preceded her in death by four days.

Family and friends will be received at Trinity United Methodist Church, Terra Alta from 11:00 on Saturday May 14, 2022 until the 1:00 p.m. time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman and Pastor Barry Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Centenary Cemetery.
