Bud was my old friend from childhood and school days in Rowlesburg. We hunted together many times and his home was within walking distance from mine on east main street. In more recent years we would meet at WVU football games in Morgantown and discuss the good ole days. My wife was in a wheelchair for the last 12 years of her life and she became a good friend of Bud's partly because of that mutual disability. I will miss him for whatever remains of my days on earth. I am hopeful we will meet again in a better place.

Bud and I grew up together in Rowlesburg. We were hooked at the hip. He was my very best friend that anyone could have. After many years of separation we found each other a few years back and lost contact again two years ago.
I and my family members are so saddened to hear of his passing.
Rest In Peace my brother. I love you!

We are sadden by the passing of Bud I had a friendship with him for many years.
He was a great neighbor and a true friend to my family.
Mom and Dad had many many years of good talks and friendship with him.
I hope he is walking the streets of gold and visiting with loved ones.
We will cherish the memories for a lifetime.

I remember Bud being around when I was a youth in Lenox. He was always offering encouragement and words of wisdom to all of the local youth. He loved to hunt and fish and was a great man. He never let his situation limit him and was always out and about. Sad to hear of this but glad to know that Heaven gained another angel:)

The oh so many memories I have of Bud.....they go from my childhood right into parenthood. From my childhood of singing and riding my big wheel bike, and getting height measurements on the door trim in Buds kitchen to my son getting the same measurement I did...I will forever treasure these memories of a great friend and neighbor.
