Obituary of Linda Sue Funk

Linda Sue Funk 71, of Terra Alta, died Saturday April 23, 2016 at Dennett Road Manor in Oakland, MD. The daughter of the late Josiah J. and Hazel H. Rankin Rodeheaver, she was born May 1, 1944 in Albright, WV. She enjoyed camping and crafts. Linda was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by a son, Raymond L. Funk, Jr. and companion Judy Starcher of Kingwood; three daughters and spouses, Rebekah K. and Harry Newman and Rose A. and John Thomas, all of Ruth Glen, VA, and Loree A. and John Pritt of Terra Alta; three brothers, Mike, Ben and Marvin Rodeheaver; five sisters, Jo Ann Shay, Ida Loughry, Patsy Strahin, Betty Casteel and Peggy Cramer; eight grandchildren, Zachary, Wyatt and Maxwell Newman, Ryan, Logan, Sarah and Kolten Pritt and Abigail Thomas; a great grandson, Raymond Beauregard Newman, expected any day, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Lee Funk, Sr. and a sister, Wanda Rodeheaver. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 and from noon on Tuesday April 26, 2016 until the 1:00 time of service with Rev. Eric Beeman officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Terra Alta.
