Obituary of Kenneth Kay Myers

Kenneth Kay Myers, 73, of Terra Alta died Wednesday December 9, 2020 at home. The son of the late Charles F. and Sevilla Ellen Forman Myers, he was born January 11, 1947 in Bruceton Mills. Ken was a wonderful father and Grandfather. He enjoyed working on trucks and driving. He loved the outdoors, fishing and more. He was a hard worker. He is survived by his companion, Cindy Adams Myers of Terra Alta; two sons, James Elden Lewis and wife Christina of Tunnelton and Robert John Myers and companion Lisa LaRue of Terra Alta; five grandchildren, Keyona, Chase, Quinton, Dakota and John; one sister, Dixie Field of Hampton, VA; one brother, Charles Myers and wife Bobby of Oakland; and a sister-in-law, Betty Myers of Terra Alta. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Sam and Stanley Myers and five sisters, Bertha Myers, Sally Tinsely, Roxie Ege, Emily "Dolly" Knox and Mamie Emerson. Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta, from noon on Saturday, December 12, 2020 until the 2:00 p.m. time of service with Pastor Samuel Cline officiating. Due to COVID-19, safety precautions will be taken, the social distancing 6-foot rule will be honored and all guest, whose health allows, are to wear a mask.
