Obituary of Susan Linette Hartley

Susan L. Hartley, 73, of Terra Alta, died Saturday March 28, 2020 at home. The daughter of the late Tom and Mary Alice Shaffer Reed she was born August 23, 1946 in Columbus, OH. She was a 1964 graduate of Upper Arlington in Columbus, OH and then attended Miami of Ohio University. She worked for the U.S. Government at Youngstown Air Reserve Station in Warren, OH. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Michael J. Hartley; a son and spouse, Todd and Michelle Sandberg of Columbus, OH; three step-sons, Darrin (Kim) Hartley, Rodney (Amanda) Hartley and Kenny Hartley all of Oklahoma; a former daughter-in-law, Jolene Groves of Terra Alta; a brother, Don Reed of SC; three grandchildren, Jack, Molly and Jasmine Sandberg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Scott Sandberg and a sister, Sandy Alspaugh. Cremation services will be provided by Arthur H.
