Obituary of Bonnie Irene DeWitt

Bonnie I. DeWitt,

67, of Terra Alta, died Friday October 11, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

The daughter of the late Mary L. Lewis and Charles E. Anderson Sr., she was born December 21, 1951 in Terra Alta.

Bonnie was a 1969 graduate of Terra Alta High School. She was a dietary manager and cook at Hopemont Hospital where she retired after 26 years. She enjoyed camping with her husband and granddaughters. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Junior C. DeWitt; one son, Audra "Syp" Sypolt of Terra Alta; two granddaughters, Madison and Gracie Sypolt; five sisters: Terry Summers of Lenox, Mary Loughry, Ima Stemple and Carol Thomas all of Terra Alta, and Cindy Glover of Rowlesburg.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Connie Sue Harrison and Diana Grace Graham; and three brothers, Larry "Bo" Anderson, Barry "Catty" Anderson Sr and Charlie Anderson.

Family and friends will be received at the Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta on Monday from 4-7 pm and from noon on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 until the 1:00 pm time of service with Pastor Larry Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Terra Alta Cemetery.
