Obituary of Evelena C. Howard

Evelena C. Howard,

101, of Aurora, died Friday August 16, 2019 at PineRidge Nursing Home in Kingwood.

The daughter of the late Charles and Lily Watkins Stobel she was born January 9, 1918 in Vandalia, IL.

Evelena retired from Crane Packing in Vandalia, IL.  She loved to quilt, crochet and make Barbie doll clothes for others.

She is survived by two grandchildren, Dawn Sisler and spouse Harrison of Terra Alta and Duane S. Howard; three great grandchildren, Andrea and Ashley Sisler and Bethani Howard; and three great great grandchildren Jaden, Raylee and Rowen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Howard in 1997 and her son and daughter-in-law, Donald S. and Gloria Howard in 2009. She was the last surviving member of her family.

Cremation services will be provided by Arthur H. Wright Funeral Home, Terra Alta.
