Obituary of Thomas Edward Roy

Thomas Edward Roy,

60, of Terra Alta, died Wednesday April 10, 2019 at home with family by his side.

The son of Flossie E. Felton Roy of Corinth and the late Ronald E. Roy, he was born April 4, 1959 in Oakland, MD.

Tom loved praying for people and by doing that, he touched many lives. He was a very giving person and always had a positive attitude. He was a member of Loch Lynn Church of God. He was also a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association. He loved cutting trees, the outdoors and hunting.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Roman Roy; two sons, Dakota Roy of Somerset, PA and Robert Gribble, Jr.; three daughters, Aleiha Brown and husband Brian of Oakland, Cheyenne Roy of Somerset, PA and Kaelan Johnson and husband Allen of Kingwood; one sister and spouse, Beulah Grace and Darn Elliott of Oakland; five grandchildren, Kelsey Brown, Reed Johnson, Sydney and Mason Gribble and Kyla Niss; a great grandaughter, Emma Niss; an uncle and spouse, Bill and Carolyn Roy; a niece and spouse, Amy and Mikey Welch; and many friends.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Melissa Martinez

Family and friends will be received at the Loch Lynn Church of God from 3:00 p.m. on Sunday April 14, 2019 until the 5:00 p.m. time of service with Rev. Ivan and Cindy Ackerman officiating. Private family burial will be in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
