Obituary of Eric Meddings

Eric Clinton Meddings, 50, of Aurora, died suddenly on Monday May 16, 2016 at Grafton City Hospital, Grafton, WV. The son of Nancy Wilson and husband Cliff of Southside, WV and Earl Meddings and wife Joyce of St. Albans, WV, he was born October 31, 1965 in Charleston, WV. He graduated from East Preston High School in the class of 1983. He worked at Leer Mining Complex in Grafton and was a proud Coal Miner. Eric was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Brenda Meddings; a sister, Lori; his coal mining family and many friends. There will be a memorial gathering for family and friends at the Meddings home, 838 Brookside Road, Aurora, WV 26705 starting at noon on Saturday May 21, 2016.
